Los Gatos’ Brian Lavelle, 36, completed the 1.5k swim, 40k bike and 10k run in 1:54:20 to win the event for the second time.
Berkeley’s Erika Erickson, 25, won the women’s race with a time of 2:11:13 in her first event since winning the 25-29 age group at the ITU World Championships in Beijing two weeks ago.
