Iconic footwear and sportswear brand K•Swiss is proud to congratulate professional athletes Matt “Boom Boom” Reed, Joe Gambles and Tim O’Donnell on their respective first, second and third place finishes at this weekend’s inaugural Revolution 3 Triathlon (Rev3) held in Middlebury, CT.

The first-ever Rev3 consisted of a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and13.1-mile run that most competitors agreed was one of the more challenging courses they had ever taken on. Power and speed proved to be the winning ticket in the men’s field, which was dominated by Reed throughout every stage.

Reed exited the water in 21:58, and proceeded to build a considerable two-minute lead on the rolling bike course with a time of 2:15:49. He then used his large frame to his advantage on the run course where he clocked a time of 1:19. All told, Reed finished in 3:59:25 – the only sub four-hour time of the day. Fellow K·Swiss athletes finished just minutes later, Gambles in 4:01:00 and O’Donnell in 4:03:34.
