Ironman Arizona On Track As Tempe Town Lake Begins Refill

November 21's Ironman Arizona looks to be on track as the process of refilling Tempe Town Lake began today in Tempe, Ariz. Officials expect the lake to be re-opened by October 25, nearly one full month before the Ironman date.

November 21’s Ironman Arizona looks to be on track as the process of refilling Tempe Town Lake began today in Tempe, Ariz. Officials expect the lake to be re-opened by October 25, nearly one full month before the Ironman date.

The fate of the race was in question after a bladder holding the dam together burst back on July 20, emptying the lake.
