Clayton Treska, an Iraq war veteran, was diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer in July of 2009 and his doctors told him there was very little hope. Fortunately, Treska never believed them and, against the odds, he finished the 2010 Ironman World Championship with a time of 15:16:58. Treska is one of the athletes featured on NBC’s Dec. 18 broadcast of the Kona race. Learn more about Treska in this episode of Breakfast with Bob, filmed in Kona before Treska competed in the race.
