Injinji, innovator of the patented Performance Toesock™, introduces the EX-Celerator Performance Compression Toesock™ – an over-the-calf interface that fuels circulation to promote faster muscle recovery and prevent fatigue during and after exercise. The new sock features Injinji’s patented five-toe-sleeve design and incorporates LYCRA® Energy fabric socks’ graduated compression with COOLMAX® freshFX™ fibers offering antibacterial and moisture-wicking performance.

“The Performance Compression Toesock’s lower-leg graduated compression system coupled with Injinji’s patented design, which provides unmatched mobility for the toes, offers optimal circulation for runners and other performance athletes,” explains Jan Kimbrell, vice president of sales for Injinji. “It’s an all-in-one system that negates the need for other devices.”

Further, the Performance Compression Toesock incorporates INVISTA™’s proven fiber technologies, including LYCRA® Energy fabric technology for measured graduated compression to help prevent swelling and fatigue of the legs, as well as COOLMAX® freshFX™  fabric– a silver-based fiber technology that creates an invisible and antibacterial freshness shield that resists odors and wicks moisture. The Performance Compression Toesock contains 50% COOLMAX® freshFX™ fabric; 35% nylon; and 15% LYCRA® fiber.

“Compression technology is being introduced from a variety of manufacturers in an effort to provide athletes with the best possible equipment for performing their sport,” explains Kimbrell. “Injinji maintains an unparalleled design and fabric advantage in the sock category.”

The Injinji Performance Compression Toesock is available in black or white in men’s and women’s sizes (S-XL) and has a retail launch date of September 2009. MSRP: $38
