Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer, who is an avid triathlete, was nominated for an Emmy on Sunday.
Although he did not take home the win this year, Cryer did win the coveted award for his role opposite Charlie Sheen in 2009.
Outside of acting, Cryer spends much of his time training and competing in triathlons. He credits his trainer, Rich Guzman, for getting him to the sport. He also says his naturally fiery competitiveness lends well to a sport like triathlon.
Cryer has competed alongside other celebrities, such as David Duchovny, on several occasions at the Nautica Malibu Triathlon. According to Cryer, he and Duchovny have a fierce rivalry each time they set foot on the starting line.
