Athletes, supporters and bloggers, here is your chance to show off your favorite triathlon photo, have it published and win a great prize.

Paul Phillips of Competitive Image has announced the first “Spirit of Triathlon Photo Contest” in an effort to find the best amateur photographers from multisport.

Submissions may include images of professional, age group, youth and challenged triathletes, action photos, venue or human interest.

The top 20 selected images will be published on Triathlete.com, and the top three photographers will receive prizes from ThinkTank Photo.

First place prize: Urban Disguise 35 v2.0 Camera Bag

Second place prize: Sling-O-Matic 20 Camera Bag

Third place prize: Digital Holster 10

The contest will begin today, Jan. 7, and conclude on Feb. 19.

A portion of the proceeds from each entry will be contributed to the Blazeman Foundation for ALS and to World Bicycle Relief.
