Challenge Family Americas today announced a national partnership with Team Red, White & Blue (Team RWB) that will make the organization the official charity partner of Challenge Family Americas in the United States. According to the press release, the relationship aims to advance Team RWB’s mission to enrich the lives of America’s veterans and to encourage military participation in Challenge Family events.
“It’s an honor to partner with such an admirable organization as Team RWB,” said Eric Opdyke, Operations Director, Challenge Family Americas. “We have a history of welcoming veterans, active duty military and their extended family members to our events and this partnership will serve to further our commitment to those that serve our country.”

Challenge Family will provide support to Team RWB athletes wishing to compete in any of the series’ U.S. races (Challenge Knoxville, Challenge Quassy, Challenge Williamsburg, Challenge Atlantic City, Challenge Pocono Mountains, Challenge Maine, Challenge Cedar Point, Challenge Rancho Cordova and Challenge Florida), as well as unique opportunities for veterans and active military members to participate on relay teams, a feature of all Challenge Family events. The partnership will promote charitable fundraising and increase awareness of Team RWB’s efforts to enhance the lives of veterans through athletic and community involvement. A contribution option at checkout will allow any athlete registering for a Challenge Family event in the U.S. to make a direct donation to the cause.
“We’re thrilled to join forces with Challenge Family Americas as the Official Charity Partner,” said Brad Williams, National Triathlon Team Director, Team RWB. “Through the sport of triathlon and Team RWB’s work we’ve seen direct and lasting improvement in the lives of numerous American veterans, however countless others continue to struggle and are in need of support. By partnering with Challenge Family, an organization that shares our same core values of community and inclusion, we hope to positively impact many more military individuals and their families.”
