Blueseventy, the world’s leading maker of wetsuits, swimskins, and other swimming accessories, has announced its sponsorship of the Danskin Triathlon Series.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2009, the Danskin Triathlon Series is the largest and longest running women’s triathlon series in the world. Established in 1990 as a part of Danskin’s longstanding commitment to women’s health and fitness, more than 200,000 women have participated in the series. Approximately half of the participants have never done a triathlon before.

“At blueseventy, we are passionate, borderline obsessive, about creating products to enable and empower swimmers of all levels to achieve their personal bests. In fact, we’ve spent years perfecting our women-specific femme-fit wetsuits,” CEO Steve Nicholls says. “The Danskin Triathlon Series has inspired more than 200,000 women to swim, bike and run in triathlons across the country. We are pleased to support this awesome series and these women’s participation in this empowering and life-changing experience.”

“The Danskin Triathlon Series is excited to partner with blueseventy because a great wetsuit is essential to a successful race day especially for our first-timers,” said Barb McKeever, Series Director, Danskin Triathlon Series. “As the premier women’s triathlon series in the country, we are pleased to partner with the leading wetsuit company as we continue to provide the best possible experience for our participants.”
