Biscay To Compete In Ultraman World Championships
American Hillary Biscay has confirmed that she will be competing in November's Ultraman World Championships on the Big Island of Hawaii.

American Hillary Biscay has competed in 45 Ironman events, and now she’s ready to take her endurance to the next level. Biscay has confirmed that she will be competing in November’s Ultraman World Championships on the Big Island of Hawaii.
The event only allows 35 competitors to participate, and is by invitation only. Biscay will take on 320 miles of swim/bike/run over the three days of November 26-28, 2010.
One thing to note is that Biscay will not be participating in this event on fresh legs. Prior to the championships, Biscay will compete at the Ironman World Championships on Oct. 9, which will be her eighth Ironman-distance race of the year.
Biscay released the following statement about competing in the event: “I’ve been intrigued by the idea of Ultraman for some time and I was looking for a new challenge this year. I had the chance to check out the Ultraman course following a summer training camp in Kona and decided I didn’t want to wait any longer to have a crack at this race.”
In the meantime, Biscay is getting ready for this weekend’s Ironman Wisconsin event, which will be her third Ironman-distance race in four weeks.
