Bella And Stephen Bayliss Leave TeamTBB
The Iron Couple, Stephen and Bella Bayliss, have parted company with Brett Sutton and teamTBB.

The Iron Couple, Stephen and Bella Bayliss, have parted company with Brett Sutton and teamTBB. In a move that comes as something of a surprise, teamTBB made the announcement on its website this week. The couple, who married in 2008, have been with teamTBB since 2006, and in that time Bella has won eight Ironman-distance races, and Stephen has recorded everyone of his seven Ironman podiums (two wins).
A statement on the teamTBB site said:
Stephen and Bella Bayliss have been an instrumental part of teamTBB since its inception 4 years ago. Bella has become one of the most succesful female triathletes there has ever been and both have achieved countless wins and podium finishes with teamTBB. Bella and Stephen married in 2008 and together they have developed a strong brand all unto themselves: the Iron Couple. They are reknowned worldwide and as such they will be seeking new opportunities in 2011.
Team Bayliss will of course never be too far away from us and we’ll continue to see them reguarly at teamTBB’s summer training base in Leysin, Switzerland where they have a home. So all it leaves for us to say is a fond farewell to Team Bayliss and to wish them the best of luck for 2011 and beyond.
