It was just four short weeks ago that Belgium’s Marino Vanhoenacker won Ironman Austria, but it’s obviously been plenty of time to recover as he imposed his authority on the Antwerp 70.3 today and led from the early stages of the bike through to the finish line. Another Belgian, Sofie Goos, came off the bike with a lead that she hung on to to take the women’s title.
