The REP Lab in Bend, Ore., is hosting a triathlon skills camp Jan. 16–19 to help participants build a solid foundation for the 2015 triathlon season. The REP Lab’s Biomechanics Lab Director, Jay Dicharry, works with some of the sport’s top pros, including Linsey Corbin, Heather Jackson and Jesse Thomas. Campers will undergo comprehensive strength, mobility and stability assessments with action plans to improve the body in order to improve in triathlon. The camp will include appearances from American female Ironman record holder Corbin, and pros Matt Lieto and Jen Luebke. Each day will be dedicated to each of the disciplines with the clinical and professional athlete team. Campers will receive swim stroke analysis, an expert bike fit, biomechanical analysis for feedback on gait, and more. A “Brain Science” component features informational lectures to make sense of the science.

Out of the lab and in Bend’s great outdoors campers can trail run, nordic ski, tour the microbreweries, and eat at Bend’s best restaurants.

The camp is limited to 12 people, and the cost of the 3-day camp is $1300.  Lodging, breakfasts, and dinners (other than the first night’s icebreaker dinner) are not included.
