Following Jenson Button’s lead, fellow Formula One driver Nico Rosberg will compete in the Nice-Cote d’Azur.
Nico Rosberg has become the latest Formula One driver to get the triathlon bug, after he confirmed he will be participating in one during the three-week break between races.
After a more competitive Chinese Grand Prix led to an ultimately frustrating fifth place for Mercedes, Rosberg said he would be heading to the South of France to shake off the disappointment.
“On Easter Sunday I’m doing a triathlon with some friends in Nice, which is exciting,” said Rosberg, referring to the Nice-Cote d’Azur.
Jenson Button has long been an advocate of triathlons in order to aid fitness, and competed in Hawaii at the start of April after spending time training with seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong on the island over the winter.
