Thank you to everyone who entered our Life Time Tri Chicago contest. We enjoyed hearing about our readers’ tips for navigating transition. It was a difficult decision, but we have chosen Stephen Ngo and Mark Hebert as the winners. They will each receive one entry to the sold-out Life Time Tri Chicago.

“I like to get a big stick of kid’s SIDEWALK CHALK, and draw a funny sign on the ground in front of my rack. Usually its a smiley face that says: “Suck it up!”. Sometimes arrows leading to your rack. You’ll laugh at your own artistic (in)ability!”
– Stephen Ngo

“Obviously walking the transition area helps, but after a long swim it’s like being at the mall during Xmas time…sometimes you forget even though you tell yourself you will remember. So, I will keep my iPhone strapped to my bike. When my wife see’s me exit the swim she will “find my iPhone” and play sound…I keep the alarm sound as my sound and home in on the bike, cranked on high! I use the phone for speed/distance/cadence like any other bike computer too so it isn’t something extra. In the end it’s like being in the parking lot and continuously pushing your you lock button untill it beeps at you. It is a team effort!”
– Mark Hebert

Congratulations to Stephen and Mark! Didn’t win? Find out how you can win a Magellan “Time to Train” prize pack.
