Yoga instructor Sage Rountree demonstrates the Downward Facing Dog, which is a great yoga position for athletes. This position will help stretch the entire back side of your body, including problem areas like the lower back, hamstrings and glutes. Yoga may sound difficult but if you continue adding in more of these positions to your regular stretching routine, you will find yourself more limber and ready to train.

Sage Rountree is a yoga instructor and author of various yoga books for athletes. To learn more about Sage visit her website www.sagerountree.com .
