This week’s run and strength workout comes from USAT Level I coach Jessica Dollar of Nashville-based FTP Coaching (ftpcoaching.com). This quick boot-camp-style workout makes for an easy session when you’re strapped for time or on the road.

Run and Strength Boot Camp For One
Easy 2-mile run, followed immediately by:
60″ each of plank, sit-ups, push-ups, plank
45″ each of plank, sit-ups, push-ups, plank
30″ each of plank, sit-ups, push-ups, plank
15″ each of plank, sit-ups, push-ups, plank
1-mile run at a moderate pace (Zone 3), followed immediately by:
60” each of plank, side plank on left, side plank on right
45″ each of plank, side plank on left, side plank on right
30″ each of plank, side plank on left, side plank on right
15″ each of plank, side plank on left, side plank on right
1-mile easy jog, then hold a plank for as long as possible.
