ITU World Championships

Amine Britel passed away after being hit by a car while cycling in Southern California on Monday evening. Britel competed in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona as a member of the 4 x 400 meter relay team and has participated in ITU Age Group World Championships.

The Swiss team of Ryf, Wild, Spirig and Riederer take the ITU Team World Championship in front of a home crowd, topping the French team by 40 seconds.

Lausanne will host both the first-ever ITU Sprint Triathlon World Championships, as well as the ITU Team Triathlon World Championships.
