5150 Triathlon Series

The 5150 Clearwater Triathlon, which had been slated to be the 5150 series finale, has been canceled for 2011.

WTC has announced a partnership with the United States Marine Corps. As part of the deal, September's 70.3 world championship race in Henderson, Nev. will now be known as the Marine Corps Ironman World Championship 70.3.

The United States' short-course stars showed up for the first race of the 5150 Series in Miami, Fla.

American teammates and training partners Matt Chrabot and Jillian Petersen took the wins at the 2011 Miami International Triathlon. The race also served as the first-ever race of WTC's 5150 Triathlon Series.
