Yes, you can make a healthy chocolate peanut butter smoothie! Not only is antioxidant-rich cocoa powder a seriously delicious way to get your chocolate fix, it also has some seriously healthy benefits. If you buy the unsweetened 100-percent cacao variety, it lacks the high-calorie cocoa butter and sugars found in garden-variety chocolate and is a source of magnesium and other minerals.

Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

Serves 4

11⁄2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1⁄2 cup ice (optional)
1⁄4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1⁄4 cup peanut butter
2 frozen bananas, chopped
2 pitted dates

Preparation

Add all healthy chocolate peanut butter smoothie ingredients to a blender, and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Divide between glasses, and serve immediately.
