We Tried It: Nuun All Day

The new Nuun All Day aims to keep you hydrated while sitting at your desk.

Known for their low-calorie electrolyte drink tabs, Nuun has evolved from a few tubes to 19 inventive flavors ranging from strawberry lemonade to cucumber mint. Their latest product, Nuun All Day, isn’t meant for long rides or runs. Instead, the 7-calorie beverage is aimed at keeping you hydrated throughout the day while sitting at your desk.

All Day lacks the sodium found in regular Nuun—unnecessary for hydrating while sedentary—and boasts an impressive lineup of 17 vitamins and minerals, including 100 percent of your daily needs for Vitamin C and 50 percent of Vitamin B, D and E. Simply plop a tab into a glass of water and wait for it to dissolve. The sweetness comes from Stevia and sorbitol. We recently passed the four flavors of All Day around the office and here’s what our staffers had to say.

“The Grapefruit Orange flavor was pleasantly sweet, with a little bit of citrus tangy-ness to it. I know it doesn’t have sugar, but I like that I’m not getting the gross sweetener aftertaste—it has a clean finish.”

“It tastes similar to Vitamin Water, but it’s a lot more convenient (and more cost-effective) to have a tube versus constantly buying new bottles.”

“As a regular Nuun drinker, I almost wished that it was more flavorful.”

“The Tangerine Lime is little sour in a citrus kind of way. The Blueberry Pomegranate reminded me of a popsicle.”

“I loved it. It’s refreshing, and the flavors are all pretty subtle. It definitely made me drink more water than I normally do.”

“In room temperature water, it wasn’t really working. But I really liked it cold.”

“It was tangy and tasty, but you can pick up the ‘fake’ sugar taste. Don’t get me wrong, I love Nuun, but I’d prefer normal to the day product.”
