These snack bars offer an inventive way to eat your fruits and veggies: The Indian flavor has coconut and cauliflower; Moroccan has currants and carrots; Thai has brown rice and bell pepper; and California has kale and pomegranate. Strong & Kind Bars
These new protein bars were the unanimous winner of the editors’ taste test. The milder-tasting Honey Smoked BBQ and slightly spicy Thai Sweet Chili were the most widely liked, but the strong Hickory Smoked (similar to smoked almonds), Honey Mustard (reminiscent of honey mustard pretzels) and Roasted Jalapeño were also crowd pleasers. Sheffa Savory Bar
Available in four flavors, these baked, gluten-free bars boast a list of all-natural, whole-food ingredients, including nutrient-packed quinoa and amaranth. Testers enjoyed the rosemary flavor best, but the sesame, spicy (with a kick at the end!) and everything (like the bagel) flavors are also highly snackable. The bars can be crumbly when eaten on the go, and the dry, biscuit-like texture would pair well with cheese or a dip.
