If the abundance of tiny pockets in most transition bags is overwhelming, the simplicity of this bag is a welcome change. Open up the “drawbridge style” zipper, and everything can be seen in the one huge main compartment and side and front mesh (see-through) pockets. There are exterior pockets for things like keys, wallet, and cell phone, as well as a dedicated padded pocket for a laptop and a bottom waterproof pocket for a wetsuit. This one easily holds all necessary gear—but that’s also its biggest flaw. The bag looks and feels huge, especially when packed with gear.
