AugustCoverThe August, 2009 issue of Triathlete is currently on newsstands, featuring our annual tribute to technology. This year’s hi-tech gear guide shows off 20 pieces of super-sexy (and expensive) gear, like Zipp’s new VumaChrono crank, the Garmin Forerunner 310XT and an array of custom cycling shoes. Keeping with the tech theme, editor Brad Culp was the first triathlete to race with Shimano’s highly-anticipated Di2 electronic groupset and has penned a complete review of his experience. Senior Editor Matt Fitzgerald has authored this month’s training feature, which details how to incorporate certain aspects of “scientific” training into your weekly regimine. Lastly, on this month’s cover you’ll find tech-obsessed pro TJ Tollakson, which is complimented by an in-depth Q&A by Tech Editor Jay Prasuhn.
