Until recently, measuring muscle oxygen was either incredibly inaccurate or invasive, but through the magic of a precise LED sensor strapped to your leg, triathletes can now get real-time feedback on muscle oxygen consumption while running or riding thanks to Humon Hex. The information provided gives live readings of blood oxygen levels to the legs, letting the wearer know when they’re about to hit their limit, over their limit, fully recovered, or well rested and perfectly trained.
Using Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity to work with select Garmin devices or a smartphone app, triathletes will no longer have to guess when they’re properly warmed up before a workout or a race or if they’ve recovered properly between intervals thanks to the Humon Hex. When used as a baseline for training, this can truly revolutionize the way we look at interval training, as timed recovery and other measurements for effort become obsolete.
