The Draw: Best Forearm-Pad Design
Vision is a fixture in the landscape of aerobars, and their latest iteration of the TriMax Carbon Clip-On means they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. The one-piece handlebar and extension clamp allows for an adequate amount of adjustability while remaining elegantly simple. During testing, we appreciated the amount of forearm pad width adjustability the TriMax offers, something that is growing increasingly rare in most companies’ offerings. The J-bend extension design provides comfort while still putting hands in an aero position. These bars also feature a superb forearm rest design—our favorite of the bunch. The cups are curved more than most, which held our arms securely in place, while the pads had just the right amount of cushioning.
