In conjunction with the Eurobike tradeshow, Pro today announced the launch of an alloy version of its Missile Evo handlebar.
The new triathlon handlebar, the Missile Alloy, is touted as being one of the lightest, most adjustable and comfortable handlebars in its league at a lower price point. One of the major features of the Missile Alloy is its adjustability—it offers 5mm stackable spacers for a customized setup for a variety of riders. Although it is made of alloy, the handlebar is still remarkably light with a total weight of 729 grams (excluding spacers).

The Missile Alloy benefits from some of the technology used in the Missile Evo, sporting a sleek base bar shape with the same aerodynamic features and ergonomic dimensions. Compared to the Missile Evo, the Missile Alloy has extra soft arm-pads for more comfort. Both the base bar and clip-ons offer internal cable routing for Di2 and mechanical shifting.
The Missile Alloy base bar ($99.99) will only be available in a 40cm width, with 3.5cm of drop from the stem clamp to the hoods. The extensions are available in either Ski-bend or S-bend models for $199.99 each.
