Felt unveils its own triathlon-specific dream machine, the IA FRD LTD.

Add Felt’s newest dream bike to the growing list of aero rides engineered explicitly for triathlon. The drag-reducing frame tubes are so deep the bike is illegal in road-race time trials. Its highly integrated front end has sensible geometry suited to a wide range of positions, although the blended stem assembly prevents the bike from morphing to accommodate upright positions. A small box behind the stem is the bike’s lone integrated storage solution. Handling is responsive, and keeping the bike on course takes attention, especially with the deep-dish Mavic CXR 80 wheels. The Felt IA’s elite straight-line aero performance and nimble steering give a skilled cyclist the tools to ride as fast as his or her body can go.
