As far as stats go, Elite’s Drivo II is tough to beat. This upper-end direct-drive smart trainer of course transmits via Bluetooth and ANT+ FE-C, but it also boasts some of the highest accuracy (± .5-percent), slope simulations (24 percent!), and wattage ceilings (2,300W). The super-solid construction and relatively quiet drive on the Drivo also bring it near the top of its class. Elite also packages its smart trainer with a three-year subscription to its software package, which, among other things, uniquely measures a rider’s pedaling smoothness plotted onto a graph. The Drivo II is certainly the smart trainer to beat when it comes to the biggest and best features, while still pricing less than other top-end setups.
