Boulder, Colo.-based Panache Cyclewear makes bold but classic kits in addition to its custom lines. This Echelon kit was inspired by the first 1980s kits, when teams started using geometric patterns. The company’s high-quality apparel provides a close but comfortable fit, with arm cuffs that stay in place while still allowing for mobility. The zipper locks in the down position but opens easily with a tug when in the “up” position, so you can get quick ventilation when your body heats up. One tester noticed the chamois didn’t feel as thick as others when on a particularly stiff saddle, but it still made for a comfortable ride. Our 6-foot-3 tester found the jersey was the perfect length to avoid showing any midriff.

Echelon Jersey $130
Echelon Bib Short $160
