Many of the women competing at the Kitzbühel leg of the Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Series are making the relatively short trip to Hamburg for the next round this weekend. World number one, Emma Moffatt, has been in domineering form so far this year and hasn’t lost a race since the start of May.
On the men’s side, Alistair Brownlee and Javier Gomez, the number one and two ranked athletes, are both taking a break from racing, leaving the race wide open.
