Video: Paterson Back In Maui “A Different Athlete”

After overcoming some significant adversity these past couple of seasons, including a Lyme disease diagnosis, depression and a broken wrist and shoulder from crashes, the "Scottish Rocket" is back in Maui after missing the 2014 race to contend for the XTERRA world title. Despite the challenges thrown at her, the two-time XTERRA world champ (2011-12) won XTERRA Costa Rica (after getting through the swim using only one arm), as well as the West and Southeast Championship races in addition to the European Championship in England this season.
