American Andrew Starykowicz has been pretty absent from the race scene since he pulled out of Ironman Hawaii last October during the bike leg. Following surgery and a tough recovery—in addition to his wife having a baby in February— Starykowicz is now hoping he’s on the way back to racing healthy. He explains his injuries, recovery and why he chose to do  Challenge Roth as his test comeback race.
