The Revolution3 Triathlon Series is adding another date to its 2013 calendar. Rev3 Branson, formerly Ironman 70.3 Branson, will take place on Sept. 22, 2013 and will feature half-iron distance and Olympic distance races.
Both races will feature a swim in Lake Table Rock, a bike on a closed-road course along scenic highways and a run through historic downtown Branson.
“We’re very happy to add Branson to our race schedule,” said Eric Opdyke, race director for Rev3, in an announcement on Rev3’s website. “Branson is a great location to host athletes and families alike, and we’re excited to offer such a challenging and technical course.”
“We’re excited to have Rev3 and their outstanding athletes come to Branson this September,” said Ross Summers, president of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Our scenic 70.3 course will be a challenging test for all participants, plus they’ll get to experience all the entertainment and attractions that Branson has to offer.”
Registration for both races opened on Jan. 1. Learn more at Rev3tri.com.
