As a favorite among professionals for its tropical location and amazing crowd support, Ironman 70.3 Philippines in Cebu again welcomed a competitive field. It was a close race on the men’s side, with Tim Reed narrowly outpacing fellow Aussie Tim Van Berkel at the finish line. In the women’s race, Switzerland’s Caroline Steffen overcame a crash with a spectator to take the victory.
