Slovania’s Jaroslav Kovacic and the United States’ Lisa Roberts earned the victories at the third running of the iron-distance Challenge Venice triathlon on Sunday. Kovacic earned the victory thanks to a solid marathon that propelled him past super cyclist Cameron Wurf (AUS). Roberts kept herself near the front for the entire race before finishing her day with a strong marathon to build a gap of more than 20 minutes.
