Both of the men’s and women’s professional races at the 2012 Ironman Arizona triathlon had exciting, though very different, story lines. A new long-course triathlete emerged for the men when Germany’s Nils Frommhold won at his debut at the distance. For the women, it was Linsey Corbin who finally earned her first Ironman Arizona victory after finishing second here three years in a row.
