American Matthew Guenter and Canadian Angela Naeth earned the titles at the 15th annual Lobsterman Triathlon in Freeport, Maine on Saturday, Sept. 8. In total, more than 800 athletes representing 35 states competed in the iconic race (and earned some delicious post-race lobster!)

Guenter, a Penn State student, finished with a time of 2:00:00, 7:08 ahead of Breno Malo. Gregory Dierksen finished in third place with a time of 2:08:58, just one week after competing in the ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship.

Naeth overcame a flat tire and finished with a time of 2:20:18, 1:35 faster than Lindsay Roskelley in second place. Anna Shveshkeyev finished third with a time of 2:25:04.
