As the fourth-place female at the 2012 London Olympics, Sarah True has had the experience of one Games to give her a healthy perspective heading into Saturday’s race in Rio de Janeiro. True discusses how her experience has helped in training for 2016 and how she’s prepared for whatever will happen on race day. ” I don’t think I fully appreciated how special it was the first time around,” she said at Wednesday’s media event. “The second time, I’m just so tremendously grateful. I’m not taking any of it for granted.”
