O’Donnell, Vodickova Win Ironman 70.3 St. Croix

The United States' Tim O'Donnell and the Czech Republic's Radka Vodickova came out on top at Sunday's Ironman 70.3 St. Croix triathlon.

The United States’ Tim O’Donnell and the Czech Republic’s Radka Vodickova came out on top at Sunday’s Ironman 70.3 St. Croix triathlon.

O’Donnell turned in a well-rounded effort on the tough St. Croix course to claim the 4:07:00 victory. Australia’s Brad Kahlefeldt finished second 90 seconds later, with Switzerland’s Ruedi Wild rounding out the top three.

For the women Vadickova continued her breakthrough year, getting the win thanks to strong times on the swim, bike and run. She finished at 4:30:13, with Scotland’s Catriona Morrison earning second at 4:34:40. 2012 Ironman world champion Leanda Cave was the third-place finisher at 4:37:15.
