Course Records Fall at ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship

It was an epic day of racing at the 13th annual ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship.

The top swimrun athletes in the world gathered on Sept. 3 for the 13th running of the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship—one of the toughest one-day endurance events on the planet. Overall, 160 two-person teams (made up of male, female, or mixed) competed over 24 islands with 50 changes between swimming and running.

Conditions were ideal for a fast day on the 75 km long race course in the Stockholm archipelago, but no one could predict that the course records would fall in every category.
