In September, Rev3 merged forces with Challenge Family, and today they announced some of their major plans for 2015 and beyond: There will be a new Challenge Americas Championships for both age groupers and pros held in Knoxville, Tenn., in May 2016, and they will bring back pro prize money to all of the former Rev3-turned-Challenge races going forward.

All the 13 Challenge races in North, South and Central America will all serve as qualifying events for the championship, which includes Challenge Knoxville, Challenge Quassy, Challenge Williamsburg, Challenge Atlantic City, Challenge Pocono Mountains, Challenge Maine, Challenge Rancho Cordova, Challenge Florida, Challenge Cedar Point, Challenge Penticton, Challenge St. Andrews, Challenge Ixtapa and Challenge Florianopolis.

As an incentive to race the first qualifying race, Challenge is offering all athletes who register for Challenge Knoxville 2015 a 50% second entry for a friend (valid until November 30).

Pro prize money will be consistent across the series, paying 10 deep to athletes at all 13 events.
