Patrik Nilsson is coming off a first place this year at Ironman Texas, and in 2018 he showed that tough competition doesn’t scare him when he finished second to Jan Frodeno at Ironman Frankfurt and one spot ahead of Patrick Lange. He’ll take these experiences into this year’s Ironman World Championships as he hopes to improve on last year’s eighth-place, 8:18:21 finish.
