American Gwen Jorgensen is a five-time ITU World Triathlon Series race winner, with all of her victories coming in 2013 and 2014. Prior to Jorgensen’s win at the 2013 ITU WTS San Diego race, no American female had ever won an ITU WTS race. Jorgensen heads into June 28’s ITU WTS Chicago race as the No. 1 ranked female in the rankings.
