Inside Triathlon editor-in-chief Courtney Baird interviewed reigning Ironman world champion Chris McCormack of Australia throughout the season. Early in the year Macca announced he would not try to defend his Ironman world title and would instead pursue a spot on Australia’s 2012 London Olympic team.
