Great Britain’s Chrissie Wellington is the reigning three-time Ironman World Champion and is quickly becoming known as one of the greatest women to ever compete in the sport of triathlon. Wellington’s most recent accomplishment came last weekend at Challenge Roth where she smashed her own world record for the fastest Ironman-distance recorded time. Her time of 8:19:13 blew away the previous record of 8:31:59.
