Although no official announcement has been made by either side, it is now clear that two-time defending Ironman 70.3 World Champion Michael Raelert will not be a part of the 2011 Trek/K-Swiss Triathlon Team.
He is the only member of the 2010 team that will not be returning. K-Swiss’ Marketing Director Erik Vervloet addressed what he called “the elephant in the room” at a team meeting, which included members of the press, in Kona, Hawaii.
