Olympic triathlete Jarrod Shoemaker was honored Thursday as the USOC’s Featured Athlete of the Week on the US Olympic Team Facebook page.
Shoemaker, who has logged seven top-10 finishes in ITU events this season and posted a team-best eighth-place finish at last weekend’s ITU Elite Sprint World Championship, was selected Wednesday from a poll on the US Olympic Team Facebook page.
