Rev3 Adds South Carolina Event

The Rev3 triathlon series continues to expand with the announcement of an Olympic Rev triathlon and a Half Rev triathlon on October 8th and 9th, 2011 in Anderson, South Carolina.

The Rev3 triathlon series continues to expand with the announcement of an Olympic Rev triathlon and a Half Rev triathlon on October 8th and 9th, 2011 in Anderson, South Carolina.

The Olympic consists of a .9 mile swim, 24 mile bike and a 6.2 mile run. The half distance is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run. Over 1,500 athletes from all over the globe are expected to compete in Anderson next October. Pro triathletes and amateurs alike will be competing for large cash prizes and both have the opportunity to earn points towards the series cash bonus!

The Revolution3 Triathlon race series was created to change the way athletes, family members, and spectators view and participate in triathlons of all distances. “Coming to Anderson, South Carolina was a no brainer for us! This community is awesome, the courses are beautiful and the venue will provide something for everyone. Very rarely do we find communities that are so welcoming!” states Eric Opdyke, Rev3 Race Director for Anderson, South Carolina.
