Danish Triathlete Rasmus Henning will miss the St. Anthony’s triathlon on Sunday, April 25. Henning won this race in 2006.

“The airspace over Denmark is still closed so unfortunately I won’t be able to compete at St. Anthony’s do to the situation with the vulcano in Iceland,” Henning said. “I had looked forward to racing Craig Alexander, Greg Bennett, and Matt Reed in this race which I won in 2006 with one of the best performances of my career. I was excited about racing Crowie before the Ironman World Championship, but now I have to wait until October to meet him in competition.”

Henning will instead try to get back to the United States in time for the Wildflower half-ironman distance triathlon on May 1.
